Saratoga Rowing Association Presents An Olympic Journey in Stages

Saratoga Rowing Association’s elite rowing program, ARION (The Advanced Rowing Initiative of the Northeast), will be discussing the journey of an Olympic athlete and how this local program has been represented on the international stage. They will discuss all necessary components of elite-level sport: the life choices, the daily training, the challenges and the opportunities that come along the journey of an aspiring national team athlete to Olympian. Established in 2016, ARION has been represented at the World Championships for USA 12 times by 8 different athletes, and at the Olympics 3 times by 2 athletes. Additionally, 5 ARION athletes represented team USA in the Pan American Games in 2023. With sights now set on LA2028, ARION is eager to share their journey with the greater Saratoga community.
