Request Adding an Item to the Collection

Item requests may only be made by residents and cardholders within the Saratoga Springs City School District.

There are two options for requesting materials from the library that we don’t already own:

  1. Using the Interlibrary Loan forms - a service to borrow items that we do not own, such as books, magazines, or professional journal articles from other libraries beyond our local library system.
  2. Using this form to request that the library purchase the item and add it to its collection.

Please first check our catalog, and if the item exists in our library but is not available, please place a hold there. We monitor demand and if demand is high enough we will order more items of what we own. You do not need to complete this form to request more.

Overview Questions

The library typically fulfills requests for newly published items within the last year. Older items may be considered but are not guaranteed.
