In addition to coffee and espresso drinks, The Higher Grounds Caffè, on the library's first floor, offers bagels and baked goods such as scones, muffins, cookies and banana bread. A selection of soups, salads and sandwiches rounds out the menu. The coffee shop is a kid-friendly space, and a great spot for groups to discuss books. Stop in for a snack or a quick lunch!
Kimberlie Till, who comes from a family of foodies, operates Higher Grounds. Till's mother, Beverly Reedy, founded Beverly's at 47 Phila Street, where Kimberlie once worked. Her brother, Michael Bowman, now runs the business and another brother is a chef at Siro's. Beverly Reedy will be helping Kimberlie out at Higher Grounds Caffè.
